An unlimited amount of prescription medications can be packaged using the CarePack™ system.
We will package the medications that do not change very often using the CarePack system. If you take medication where the dose changes often, we can provide those in a vial.
Yes. If you use insulins, inhalers, syrups, nasal sprays or any other medications that are taken as needed, we will make every effort to send them alongside your CarePack™ delivery.
Yes, Bayshore Express Pharmacy will notify your doctor(s) that you will be using our CarePack medication management system. We can then directly request prescriptions from your doctor and work together on providing you with a simpler and more convenient medication therapy management service.
Yes, in addition to prescription medications, the CarePack™ system can also include over–the–counter medications and vitamins that your doctor may recommend.
You will receive a new package every 4 weeks.
Your CarePack will be shipped to your home via a trackable method including Canada Post, Purolator or UPS.
There is no extra charge to use the CarePack™ medication management system. The cost of your medication will remain the same. You are only responsible for the copays or deductibles assigned by your insurance for every 4-week supply.
You can call us to cancel your upcoming shipment, as long as it hasn’t been shipped already to your home. If you will be away and want to hold your order, or get a larger supply for vacation, you may notify us before your next shipment is due.
The pharmacist will help you determine how to take your medications if there is a change.
The medications you only take occasionally will not be included in the CarePack. We will send them in a vial, as per the doctor’s recommended frequency, or when you request them.
